Chestnut Oaks Stingrays Swim Team
2012 Season!

We want to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your dedication and support of the Chestnut Oaks Swim Team. With 180 swimmers on our team, we were very proud of the accomplishments of each and every one of our team members. We are lucky to have so many wonderful new and returning families who have cheerfully volunteered their time and efforts. It takes over 50 parents to run a swim meet, not to mention the other activities, so we certainly appreciate everyone’s cooperation and time! Once again, we are looking forward to a wonderful 2012 swim season.

Any CORA member age 5 - 18 as of 6/01/2012 is eligible to join the Stingrays. Age 5 & 6 must be able to swim the 'front crawl' the width of the pool unassisted. Ages 7 & up should be able to swim the 'front crawl' the length of the pool (25 meters) unassisted. Ages 9 & up swim 2 lengths (50 meters) at meets.


This year we will continue to swim in Division I of the
Greater Richmond Aquatic League!

ALL NEW APPLICANTS AND RETURNING SWIMMERS should download this package, fill it out, and return it at the CORA pavilion on Registration Day, Sunday, May 20, 2011, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
If you are unable to register in person, please email Chris Stallings at allmy3girls@yahoo.com for instructions on returning the registration package.

Please Note:
  1. All meets start at 6:00 p.m.
  2. Confirm warm-up times with coaches
  3. Each family is to bring a wrapped bake good to each home meet
  4. Swimmers should bring team suit, towels, goggles, clothes, money for concession stand, activities for down time, lawn chairs as needed, coolers permitted (no glass)
  5. No smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted on the deck during swim meets.
